Service Records document Philippine-American War and China’s Boxer Rebellion
A recent description project reveals that the Abstracts of Spanish-American War military and naval service records also document New Yorkers’ service in the Philippine-American War (1899-1902) and the “Boxer Rebellion” in China (1899-1901). The cards provide military and naval service abstracts and basic personal data for New Yorkers who served in the U.S. Regular Army, Navy, and Marines.
