New WWII Records added to holdings
The State Archives recently acquired military service cards documenting New York National Guard service in the Second World War. The New York National Guard service cards, 1917-1954 (Series B2001) provide information on guardsmen before, during and after World War II and expand our holdings for guardsmen inducted into federal service by the Selective Training and Service Act of 1940.
