Consultants and Vendors
The New York State Archives provides no direct services to consultants or vendors, but the Archives recognizes that these people perform work that is essential to the successful implementation of records management and archives improvements. For vendors to provide services in the most effective way, they need to understand the point of view of the State Archives, as expressed in its records management guidelines, grant program rules, and records laws, and this webpage provides access to such material. The Archives also maintains topical lists of consultants and vendors as a service to our customers. Vendors can use these to verify that they are listed on the appropriate lists and that the information on their services is correct.
