CSCIC Issues Information Classification Standard
The Office of Cyber Security and Critical Infrastructure Coordination recently issued its new Information Classification and Control Policy and Standard. This policy and standard is mandatory for State entities, and defines a classification scheme for information, provides procedures for classifying information, and supplies baseline controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information in New York State agencies.
