New York State Records Center

The State Archives operates the State Records Center (SRC), located in Building 21 on the New York State Office Campus in Albany. The Records Center offers centralized, safe, efficient and low-cost storage, and reference for inactive paper and special media records, such as computer tapes, silver-master microfilm, and optical disks, for New York State agencies and a state contract for disposing of state and local government paper records by recycling.

Hours of operation: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Closed on state holidays.
