Records Emergency Preparedness and Response: Special Event

Description:
This free workshop presents up-to-the-minute advice and resources for the management of records and collections-related emergencies, and was developed by the Council of State Archivists (CoSA) with support from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). General guidelines for preparing a disaster plan are provided, followed by a review of steps involved in working through a disaster (including planning a Records Emergency Action Plan, or REAP, and implementing a response), along with demonstrations of some records salvage techniques.
