Shared Services Grants: LGRMIF Webinar

This webinar was held December 14, 2011 (Wednesday).

  • Grant applications must be submitted electronically before 5:00 pm on March 1, 2012.
  • Paper signature forms required for all applications must be postmarked by March 1, 2012.

Description:

The purpose of Local Government Records Management Improvement Fund (LGRMIF) grants is to help local governments establish records management programs or develop new program components.

Attendees learned about LGRMIF shared services grants, a funding priority for 2012-2013.

Shared service grants

  • provide funding for two or more local governments
  • to cooperate on a grants project
  • will develop a permanent cooperative arrangement
  • to solve a shared records management problem

Note: All applications for funding to implement a GIS for 2012-2013 must be for Cooperative or Shared Services projects. (For information on the requirements of these projects, see “Types of Grants” in the guidelines.)
