Archives Partnership Trust Board
A twenty-five-member board
is authorized in the New York State Archives Partnership Trust's
amended legislation (July 1998). Board members are selected for
their leadership and commitment to education and cultural affairs.
The Governor appoints thirteen members. The Board of Regents names
four. The Majority Leader of the
Senate and Speaker of the Assemblyeach appoint three members of the board, and the Minority
Leaders in the Senate and Assembly each appoint one member.
