The Corporate Partners Program Benefits

Our Corporate Partners value the excellence and high standards of the New York State Archives. In the last few years, the Archives and its staff have received virtually every major national and regional award given by the archival profession.

Corporate gifts are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by the law.

It is good business to support the New York State Archives:

The State Archives bolsters economic development and cultural tourism by supporting local historical organizations located along heritage trails and sponsoring History Happened Here kiosks at NYS Thruway Travel Plazas.

The State Archives ensures government accountability and makes available information pertaining to legislation, policy and program development, fiscal and legal issues, and elections of government.

The State Archives helps businesses by providing information on economic development, natural resources, demographics, infrastructure, property boundaries and ownership, law, preservation, and public health trends.

The State Archives ensures that New York has an educated and competent workforce with educational grants and programs that reach all state school districts, public programs for life-long learners, and training programs for government and historical records managers.

The State Archives keeps history alive by caring for and making accessible over 200 million documents of state government from the 1600's through the present.

The State Archives invests in local communities by providing services to more than 4,300 local governments, over 4,000 schools, and over 3,000 community organizations.
