In order to ensure that these files remain accessible, State Archives staff have created multiple copies of them and verified the correctness of the copies using special software. Some of them are stored at the State Archives, and others are stored offsite. This copying process will have to be repeated at regular intervals to ensure that the files remain accessible to future generations.
