Documentary Heritage and Preservation Services (DHPSNY)

Documentary Heritage and Preservation Services (DHPSNY),  is a joint program of the New York State Archives and the New York State Library created to deliver collections-related training, preservation surveys, archival assessments, and other services to the historical records communities across New York. DHPSNY unites the efforts of the State Archives’ Documentary Heritage Program and the State Library’s Program for Conservation and Preservation of Library Research Materials to provide grant funding to ensure that New York’s non-governmental archives and unique library research materials are preserved and accessible for generations to come.
