- Does each site contact the vendor with what their equipment needs are or is there a list of equipment each site requires at the start of the agreement?
Answer: Each site will contact the vendor with what their equipment needs are.
- Other than the shred cut specified for the Department of Taxation and Finance, are there any other departments that have specific shredding requirements? If so, what are they?
Answer: The only requirement, other than those specified for the Department of Taxation and Finance are those encapsulated in IRS Publication 1075. Vendors will be obligated to meet the most current IRS guidelines, as described in IRS Publication 1075, at the time that they submit a response to this IFB and throughout the contract term.
- Is a USB thumb drive an acceptable substitute to the CD-ROM with electronic versions of the bid documents?
Answer: SED prefers that electronic versions of the bid documents be submitted on CD. If CD is not feasible, USB will be accepted as an alternative.
