Local Government Records Advisory Council (LGRAC)
The New York State Local Government Records Advisory Council, or LGRAC, offers advice and consultation on issues of policy and service delivery pursuant to the Commissioners statutory mandate to guide and advise local governments in the management of their records. LGRAC's 27 members serve by appointment of the Commissioner of Education. LGRAC works with the State Archives, the unit of the State Education Department that provides records management services to governments.
