Legislation and Executive Orders

This section contains records documenting the governor’s power, as provided by Article IV, Section 7 of the state constitution, to approve or veto bills passed by the state legislature. Also included are records documenting the governor’s constitutional and statutory authority to issue executive orders in response to emergency situations or to facilitate administration of state government.
