The State Archives holds numerous record series that were created or compiled during specific gubernatorial administrations. Other series, such as the governor’s subject and correspondence files, were created by numerous administrations but have been arranged and described by individual administration to facilitate access. While these series document powers and duties shared by governors in general, their limited scope renders them more appropriately presented by individual administration.

To the left, under the name of each governor, are links to finding aids of series related to the governor. Each link provides the governor's name and term of in office.
